Hello Bitches is a single by South Korean singer CL, the former leader of the girl group 2NE1. It was released digital-only on November 22, 2015 together with a dance performance video. The single served as a sneak-peak for CLs US debut EP.

Originally the song was a collaboration project with MIA titles "Asian Bitches" but CL changed it because the theme was "too can’t sing along with 'Asian Bitches,' you know?"[1]

She further revealed why she keeped the single bilingual despite it being mainly for the english speaking market: "It’s not an official single but more of a street single. I wanted to give a little surprise video to excite the fans who have been waiting while I prepare for my solo album. Since I am Korean, it’s a good way of presenting me and it’s for everyone around the world to see where I am from and to keep it authentic."[2]

Music VideoEdit

Together with the release of the single, a dance performance video was released. It was directed and choreographed by Parris Goebel, the leader of the The Royal Family dance crew.[3]

The actual music video was revealed at the concerts of CLs Hello Bitches Tour in October and November 2016. As of January 2017, the music video was not released officially to the public.
